We're delighted to introduce you to our wonderful staff here at The Lords Proprietors' Inn.

Arch and Jane Edwards have dedicated almost twenty years of their lives to making The Lords Proprietors' Inn an oasis for those traveling for business and pleasure. Upon entering the Inn, you are immediately put at ease and made to feel at home by the gracious staff who attend to your every need, without even a hint of intrusion. Arch and Jane have thought of everything, so that you don't have to.

A Little bit about our Staff...

Geordie Robison
started innkeeping with us while still in high school. After graduating from Hollins College in 1990, she lived and worked in Atlanta for 7 years. She  moved back to Edenton eight years ago to enjoy the slower pace of life Edenton has to offer. Geordie's brought us into the 21st century by helping us (with much patience) to understand our computer system. She also designs our web site. You will love her wonderful smile.

Ann Graham Rowe is our evening Innkeeper, and such a wonderful new asset to the Inn.  She is a long-time resident of Edenton, and the owner of one of the grandest homes in the area, Wessington.  She is the eighth generation of her family living in this magnificent home.  Her graciousness and generosity of spirit add so much warmth to the Inn.  We are so happy to have her here with us - and I know you will be too!

Tonia Freeman has taken the place of our breakfast cook after the death of our beloved cook of 15 years, Janie Granby.  Tonia was lovingly trained by Janie to prepare her recipes, and is doing a wonderful job.  She is responsible for those mouth watering Lemon Soufflé' pancakes, and one-of-a-kind grits. If you've had a hard time keeping your hands out of the cookie jars located in the guest kitchens, thank Tonia, for she's the one who keeps the jars full.

Raleigh Holley
is one of our most valuable assets here at the Inn.  He is a true handyman who keeps this place running smoothly.  He keeps the grounds neat, paints all the interior rooms and the exterior of the houses, and fixes anything and everything that breaks.  He even painted the checkerboard pattern on our dining room floor.  No job is too big or too small - he does them all!
