Each of our
rooms has a hard-bound book for our guests to add
comments describing their stay at the Inn. We were
overwhelmed by the responses we received praising the Inn,
the delicious food, the town, and our wonderful staff. Click here To find our
more about our staff. "A Gem off the beaten way. Comfortable lodging in a quaint historic N.C. town off the Beaten Way. The restaurant may be one of the two or three in all of N.C. not to be missed." A review from a former guest made on www.bedandbreakfast.com
"This B&B is all about service, relaxation and luxury.
The town, Edenton, NC, could be any small waterfront town in
America. It is quaint and very pretty. The Inn itself is
what makes the stay special. Run by the typical former city, big
business couple, the Inn has a feeling of a very well run business
without any feeling of hurry or haste. All of the employees seemed
at ease, were smiling, and were doing their jobs very well. The
rooms are beautifully decorated. The porches are full of swings
and rockers. The guest kitchen is stocked with drinks and homemade
baked goods. The highlight, however, was the dinner. Served
in their intimate dining room, this dinner was the most amazing we had
ever had. Foodies from all over come to eat this chef's
creations. We delighted at course after course of perfectly
prepared food. When Chef Kevin emerged from the kitchen at the end
of the night, he was a humble and shy man who obviously preferred to be
behind the kitchen door. I would recommend this B&B for anyone
looking for a getaway."
"The stairway dressed for Christmas...the canopy bed covered with
crocheted lace, the dainty-flowered ceiling paper...the tiny light
above the door...the meticulous housekeeping...the spacious
shower...delicious stuffed French toast with blueberry sauce...ice
delivered at 5:00 p.m. ...coffee always perking...attentive, but
non-imposing service...a feel for the past with the comforts of
home. Yes, we will return to room # 21 at the end of the hall
and to a town where people have remembered to slow down, enjoy the
moment, and SMILE! Thank you, Jane and Arch. These three
days of house visiting, parties, parades, and a place to rest in
between have been etched in our memories." - Mary Jo and Luke - Stamford, CT |
