of our local golf courses, reserve tennis courts for you, arrange for
a baby sitter, or help you in any other way to make your stay here as
special as possible. Enjoy complimentary soft drinks and bottled
water, sherry and port, and homemade cookies.

Internet Access throughout the Inn. DVD players in all
rooms.
- Golf - We have two beautiful
waterfront courses within 15 miles of the Inn. We can arrange tee times, and provide directions.
- Tennis - There is a public
tennis court within walking distance of the Inn.
You are also welcome to play at the Chowan Golf
& Country Club's courts.
- Swimming - The owner's of the
Inn invite you to use their private swimming pool
at their waterfront home, Mount Auburn (c. 1800)
in season.
- Sitter Service - We can arrange
for dependable and experienced baby sitters
during your stay. Please request this service in
advance of your arrival. We also have baby cribs
available.
- Meeting Facilities - The Whedbee
House is the ideal location to hold your next
small business meeting. We can accommodate up to
30 people in theatre style seating, or up to 20
in a U-shape formation. Flip charts, TV and VCR,
overhead projector and screen, and break-out
sessions are all included in meeting room rental.
- Wheelchair Accessibility - We
have one guest room which is wheel chair
accessible - Room # 17. Our dining room, and the
Pack House parlor are also wheel-chair accessible.
- Guest Service Kitchens - The
kitchens located next to the parlors in the White-Bond
and the Pack House are stocked with complimentary
cold soft drinks, homemade cookies, coffee pots,
and the makings for hot tea. Complimentary Port
and Sherry are provided in the parlors.
- Ice Delivered to your room

- Hair Dryers in every room
- Iron and Ironing Board delivered to your
room upon request
- Embroidered terry cloth bathrobes are
